Greg Ball, who is challenging Assemblyman Will Stephens in the September GOP primary, said today his petitions have been filed at the state Board of Elections. He needs 500 valid signatures to force a primary with Stephens. By Ball’s count, he’s got somewhere around 1,800. According to the Board of Elections, he submitted 193 pages of signatures (this from Yancey Roy in the paper’s Albany Bureau). Each page can hold a minimum of 10 names.
