Greg Ball had about $86,000 in his campaign coffers when the year started. Since January, he raised some $39,000 in his effort to defeat Assemblyman Will Stephens, R-Southeast, in the GOP primary. But he’s also been spending – $123,769. 23 to be exact.
Purchases have included billboard advertising, printing campaign literature and mailings. There’s also this entry on page 2 of his expenditures filed with the state Board of Elections: $10.79 spent at the Patterson A&P for inflating campaign balloons. . .
