		<description>C&#039;mon Yancey - get it straight will ya?  Even the Times Union gives a little more credit.  NYPIRG&#039;s original &quot;Callaghan&quot; statement was merely a call for answers to questions - without stating the questions.

And then, when the answers came, NYPIRG rushed right in and demanded Hevesi&#039;s resignation!!!  Oh, wait a minute, that wasn&#039;t NYPIRG.  As a matter of fact, NYPIRGS&#039;s only statement since that demand has been to refer the press to Callaghan&#039;s statement which reflects their original statement.  In other words this PUBLIC INTEREST Research Group remains out of the public arena on this one.  I guess they feel there&#039;s no public interest in a statewide financial figure who takes advantage of the taxpayers for his own purposes.

Ya know, I&#039;m not crazy about Minarik, but he&#039;s got a point there.</description>
