Hillary: “We Can’t Win in New York Without You”
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign sent out an e-mail today urging her supporters to vote on Tuesday, not only for her sake, but the sake of the entire Democratic ticket.
“In New York, I’m not the only candidate asking for your vote. We have several competitive Congressional seats now held by Republicans that could make the difference in our taking back the House of Representatives. We have a chance to take back the New York State Senate from Republicans. And we can sweep statewide races, putting Democrats back in charge in Albany.”
With Clinton’s re-election campaign having coasted under the radar for most of the year – she is expected to easily defeat Republican John Spencer on Tuesday – it’s not surprising that her campaign staff and, probably more so, state Democratic party leaders felt the need to remind her supporters that they need to get out and vote.
