Planned Parenthood announces endorsements

November
2

The Planned Parenthood Hudson-Peconic Action Fund has thrown its support behind Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun, D-Blooming Grove, Assemblyman Kenneth P. Zebrowski, D-New City, and Assembly candidates Ellen Jaffee and Michael Paduch, both Democrats. The group also endorsed Senate challenger Nancy Low-Hogan, Legislator Connie Coker, D-South Nyack, and Legislature candidate Bruce Levine, also all Democrats.

Candidates were asked a series of questions prior to the endorsements. PPHPAF said in a news relase that all endorsed candidates are in support of legalized abortion, Medicaid funding for abortion, confidential family planning services for women of all ages and fair access to contraceptives.
