Vanderhoef: No Regrets
One might think that with all of Alan Hevesi’s troubles, Republican C. Scott Vanderhoef would regret his decision last spring not to enter the comptroller’s race – opting later on to run for lieutenant governor on John Faso’s ticket.
Not so, Vanderhoef said today. He still believes running for lieutenant governor was the better opportunity, despite polls showing that the GOP ticket is about to get trounced.
“It was the right race,” Vanderhoef said. “It allowed me to help (Faso)…I have been priviledged to run with John and talk about the issues of this state.”
Vanderhoef attended the Spano family brunch in Yonkers this morning.
