Faso: No Second Guessing of Governor

November
6

Republican gubernatorial candidate John Faso, during his stop in White Plains this afternoon, said he understand’s Gov. George Pataki’s reasons for not moving forward with a recommendation to remove state comptroller Alan Hevesi.

“I’m not going to secong guess it,” Faso said. “He’s got to follow a legal and constitutionally valid procedure…It’s a murky area of the law. But I think it’s very clear on a political basis that Alan Hevesi is not going to be the comptroller next year, regardless of the outcome of the election. He’s gonna have to resign.”
