Politics on the Hudson

Several campaign banners seem to have sprouted over the weekend in Putnam County. They feature a circle and a slash over the words “Bondi” and “Leibell.” Bondi is Putnam County Execuvitve Robert Bondi and Leibell is state Sen. Vincent Leibell, R-Patterson.

At least three have been spotted hanging high over Route 311, Fair Street and Stoneleigh Avenue. Hanging is the operative word as the banners seem to be flying from lines or cables strung between utility poles or tall trees.
