The County Exec & The Comptroller

November

So what was Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano doing on stage with Alan Hevesi at the embattled state comptroller’s election night headquarters?

“Andy went to Spitzer’s first and then he made the rounds,” said Spano’s Chief Advisor Susan Tolchin, who just made surprise visit to the newsroom of The Journal News.

Tolchin also noted that Spano, a Democrat, had been a supporter of the comptroller and, a week before the election, issued a statement backing Hevesi’s re-election.
