mondello is part of the problem not part of the solution
He has been leader in nassau forever...had a hand in
selecting rick lazio...he is part of the old boy
republican network...and he will not be chosen the new
chairman who should be younger, more sophisticated
more progressive and not aligned with bruno and the rest
of the failed new york state leadership.

Huh?

The Nassau republicans have got absolutely crushed in the last batch of local elections, Suozzi, the county legislature, town of north hempstead... a lot of nassau county positions went to the dems, how can the leader of this latest failure in NY republicans take control of the party?

I suppose if they want to lose as bad as they lost in recent Nassau elections its a good choice, but... why?
