Kelly concedes

Posted by: Liz Anderson - Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 16, 2006

From the Sue Kelly campaign:

Congresswoman Sue Kelly today conceded the race for Congress, and congratulated the victor, John Hall.

“John Hall has won. I congratulate him and wish him well as he endeavors to serve our nation and the people of the Hudson Valley, said Kelly.

She wants the paper ballots counted “for historical purposes” but will not contest the results.

  1. the consultant

sue kelly ran a terible campaign..she avoided debates
she gave the impression she was hiding something
she gave the voters a reason to throw her out
sometimes consultants simply miss the forrest for the
    trees.an unnecessary loss…even mentioned on
this week with george stepanopolous as unusual

The Board of Elections always counts the paper ballots. They don’t need permission from losing candidates to do so.
