Governor-elect Eliot Spitzer couldn’t help but edit his lieutenant-governor elect David Paterson as Paterson took a turn at the podium today to make a few comments on their just-completed upstate swing.

<>Paterson, referencing various policy initiatives discussed with local officials, mentioned the ”$6 billion property tax (Spitzer) wants to create over the next three years.”

<>“Tax cut!” Spitzer interjected. “I want to make sure that word is in there.”

<><>Paterson carried on, saying he had told the officials, “Yes, he is going do it.”<>
