Dirty laundry
John Hall, the soon to be Congressman from District 19, joined embattled laundry plant workers in Peekskill this afternoon as they demonstrated over a contract deadlock.
The labor rally called by the union Unite Here was held at White Plains Linen’s Highland Avenue processing plant.
The contract covering 20,000 workers at 28 industrial laundries in the New York area ends Monday.
