State GOP Official Leaving

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 27, 2006

It looks like RoseMarie Panio will outlast Ryan Moses.

Moses, the executive director of the state GOP, told the Associated Press this afternoon that he will leave his post at the end of the month to become an Albany lobbyist. Moses caused a stir on this blog last week when he called for Panio to be replaced as leader of the Westchester Republican Committee.

In an interview with the AP, Moses said the decision to leave was his own and that he had not been forced out. It comes two weeks after state GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik announced plans to step down at the end of the month and follows the dismal performance of state Republicans on Election Day.

Moses, 31, will join the Syracuse-based Wladis Law Firm as its director of government relations.

whether ryan moses leaves or not..the fact remains
that panio put faso over the top empowered
the conservative leader, emasculated the republican
party and created a vacuum at the top of the ticket
wich had to be worth at least 900 votes..the exact
number needed to elect nick if they swicthced
