Song, dance and … your county legislators?
Legislator Bernice Spreckman, R-Yonkers, and the “Yonkers Seniors” are once again throwing their holiday show, with 250 people or more expected to attend the festivities this Thursday. The event at the Polish Community Center in Yonkers starts with a lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the “performance” from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the announcement, “Guests will enjoy a variety of music, dancing and raffles. Special performances by Legislator Spreckman and the Yonkers Seniors and Legislators (Vito) Pinto, (Lois) Bronz and (Jose) Alvarado.” Any guesses as to what their talents are? I hear Jose is a decent singer.
