<description>Reorganization Ordered – Strike Two for Cavallo

December 5, 2006, White Plains, NY- Supreme Justice W. Denis Donovan rendered a significant decision with regard to the Westchester County Independence Party’s future. Cavallo, Vasquez and Castaldo remain powerless and are on the brink of removal by the core membership of the Westchester Independence Party.

The judge ordered and adjudged the following:

1. That a new reorganization meeting of the Westchester County Committee be held with proper notice and an equal opportunity for all committee members to vote in persons or by proxy within 60 days after entry of this order and judgment.

2. That the meeting be conducted under the supervision of a court appointed monitor.

3. That the parties are directed to submit to the Court an agreed-upon list of three proposed monitors within ten days after entry of this judgment.

4. That the cost of the monitor be borne by respondents Cavallo, Vazquez, Castaldo, and the Westchester County Committee of the Independence Party.

5. That the new meeting be conducted under the 2004 rules, prior to their amendment.
