Gov.-elect Eliot Spitzer raised more than 10 times as much campaign money as the Republican he trounced in last month’s election, new filings with the state Board of Elections show.

John Faso raised just $192,000 in the last stages of the campaign, the filings show, bringing his total to just under $4 million.

Democrat Spitzer, who got 69 percent of the vote, compared to 29 percent for Faso, hadn’t filed his final report by mid-afternoon. But 11 days before the election, he reported already having raised more than $41 million.
