Former New York Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman, co-author of the book “The Impeachment of George W. Bush,” stopped in at the reception for U.S. Rep. John Hall, D-Dover Plains, this evening.

Holtzman said she met Hall when he introduced her at a seminar in Beacon during which she laid out a case for impeaching Bush charging that the president has committed high crimes and misdemeanors and therefore should be removed from office.

“I didn’t know him before and I was very impressed with him (Hall),” Holtzman said. “I wanted to be here to congratulate him.”
