So what was the private conversation on the House floor between District 19’s new Democratic Congressman John Hall and U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-CA, the senior Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, really about?

Harman was gracious enough to explain the rather complex House voting process, Hall said.

“I asked, ‘can I sit next to you so you can explain it to me,”’ he said. “Everybody is being very helpful until I get the hang of the thing.”
