Posted by: Liz Anderson - Posted in Uncategorized on Jan 09, 2007

Westchester County Legislator Judy Myers, D-Mamaroneck, has a new role: member of the county Board of Health. Myers, who also chairs the legislature’s Family, Health and Human Services Committee, will fill the seat previously held by former Andrea Stewart-Cousins, who was elected to the New York State Senate.

The 13 member Board of Health meets once a month to “adopt, promulgate, amend or repeal rules and regulations affecting public health in the County according to the sanitary code of the Westchester County law.
