Third Oath for Stewart-Cousins

Posted by: Glenn Blain - Posted in Uncategorized on Jan 09, 2007

If you didn’t see Andrea-Stewart Cousins taking the oath of office last week in Albany or in Yonkers on Sunday, fear not. She’s doing it again tomorrow night in Greenburgh.

Stewart-Cousins, the Yonkers Democrat who defeated Sen. Nicholas Spano in November, will take part in another “community swearing in ceremony” at 6:45 p.m. at Greenburgh Town Hall, her office announced.

“New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins will be joined by elected officials, community leaders, family and friends to be sworn-in, in a ceremony that will formally present the new senator to her constituency in the 35th Senatorial District which covers Yonkers, Greenburgh, Mount Pleasant, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow,” according to the media advisory for the event.
