Jenkins raising money

January
18

Shelley Mayer, who’s certainly not unfamiliar with Yonkers political races, left a message this afternoon reminding us that Board of Legislators candidate Ken Jenkins will be having his first fundraiser tonight at the Royal Regency hotel on Tuckahoe Road, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jenkins, a Democrat, faces Republican Cicely Greaves-Vega in a race for the open board seat.

very funny elia…but I will be supporting the republican
candidate as I have since 1964…bet there are a lot of
so called republican leaders in this county that can’t make
that same statement ..even though Ken is a good guy and
a friend…I believe the democrats are ruining county
government by overspending bloating the departments
and causing the county to be the highest property
taxed county in the nation…republican government
is smaller, wiser, and less expensive…but having
said that Ken is still in a good position because
of all the name id he has garnered from appearances
on news 12…just like andy spano before him
there have been a whole host of democrats who have
used the tv exposure to run for office including
    al del bello..who lost…
