Lights, music… Morahan!

January
24

State Sen. Thomas Morahan, R-New City, isn’t entering his fifth term quietly. His swearing-in ceremony, to be held tomorrow evening, will include several musical performances.
Scheduled to appear are the United States Army Field Band, the Chiku Awali African Dance Company and the Suffern High School String Ensemble. The Arts Council of Rockland, the Julliard School and the New York State Police will also make presentations.

Morahan’s ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Rockland Community College Technology Center. He defeated Democratic newcomer Nancy Low-Hogan in November.
