Mulrow Congratulates DiNapoli
Bronxville’s William Mulrow, who was one of the three comptroller finalists recommended by the screening committee, just gave me a very brief statement about today’s vote appointing Thomas DiNapoli to the post.
“I wish Tom DiNapoli the best,” Mulrow said. “He’s been a terrific assemblyman and I’m sure he will be great comptroller.”
Today’s vote by the state legislature marks the second time that Mulrow has lost out in a bid for state comptroller. In 2002, Mulrow lost a Democratic primary for comptroller to Alan Hevesi.

In Westchester—we appear to be represented by a bunch of earnest little Silver soldiers—who have just no clue how the legislature is held in disrepute.
