I too can't believe how this is being made into an issue. I read that Times Union blog and the update clearly explains how this was just a matter of confusion or some such thing. But of course, this is politics, and Mr. Ball's detractors (i.e. "the booers") will make hay of this. We can only hope the press has some scruples.
