County Executive Andrew Spano has re-nominated Patricia Higgins O’Callaghan of Pound Ridge to serve as chairwoman of the county’s Board of Ethics. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because the consultant and former county lawyer first took a seat on the board just months ago, filling the former seat of Jeff Cohen. Cohen’s term expired at the end of the year, so Spano is now submitting O’Callaghan’s name for a new term, from Jan. 2007 to Dec. 31, 2009. The nomination goes to the Board of Legislators’ appointments committee for consideration.
