The gov and the White House, times two
Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s schedule calls for him to meet with President Bush and cabinet secretaries this morning at the White House. Spitzer has been in Washington, DC, since Saturday for the National Governors Association Winter Meeting. The meeting would be Spitzer’s second stop at the White House in two days; the NGA events also included a dinner there last night with the president.
Tomorrow he’ll be back in Albany for his first-ever cabinet meeting of his own at the state capitol. Wednesday he heads back to DC for a breakfast with the state congressional delegation and dinner with Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.
