$1 Million in One Week
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign claimed success today in its bid to raise $1 million from “grassroots supporters” in a week.
According to the campaign’s press release, the campaign, which began last Wednesday, received contributions from 15,000 donors in all 50 states.
“I want to thank you for the tremendous outpouring of support you showed me during our ‘One Week, One Million’ drive,” Clinton wrote in an e-mail to supporters today. “It was an incredible success, and it means so much to me knowing that I have so many friends all over the country who are committed to our campaign.â€?
