Republican presidential candidate and Arizona Sen. John McCain will be in New York City tonight to attend the Irish-American Republicans’ 10th Annual Awards reception at the Women’s National Republican Club on West 51st Street. He’ll also be taping an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, according to his calendar.

McCain bowed out of an earlier press availability at the New York Mercantile Exchange, citing “unforseen travel delays.”
