Shouldn't somebody who styles himself as a "consultant" know the word "intransigent"?

Contrary to the rosy picture presented by the liberal media, Rudy is political roadkill. Between his left-wing social positions, and his embarrassing personal baggage (cheating on his wife with his City Hall aid; messy divorces; Bernie Kerik, etc.), the conservative base of the GOP will never support him in the primaries. Of course he appeals to loopy Rockefeller Republicans in New York, and to Democrats in the media who like his social stances. Fortunately, New York Republicans have practically no say in national politics. Liberal northeastern Republicans have made themselves irrelevant. Come to think of it, they pretty much always were when it came to the national stage.

big surprise!..the really bigger surprise is that
giuliani has opened up a huge lead even among
right wing evangelicals...and John McCains age
when he would assume office if he were elected would
be 72,,,that is an issue for him as well...I originally
thought McCain would be the best chance the Republicans
had of reataining the white house...I however now beleive
that his intransient position on the war is now hurting
him and will hurt him in the general..so its looks like
Rudy is my guy
