Arizona Sen. John McCain will be back in New York City a week from today to host an “open discussion” his campaign is calling the “McCain Exchange of Ideas.” The event, an announcement to supporters says, will “help Senator McCain benefit from the diverse experience, knowledge and talents of the individuals who have chosen to support his campaign.”
“You can join this event either in person or via a live simulcast on the Internet. With a private log-on to a special webpage, you will see live video coverage of the McCain Exchange and be able to participate in the discussion by submitting questions to Senator McCain,” it promises.
Following “the link”:https://www.donationreport.com/init/controller/ProcessEntryCmd?key=N5J4T3Z8Y0 provided by the campaign brings you to a page that lists the starting cost of an “e-ticket,” for the right to participate online, at $100. Actual seating in the hall, The Hudson Theatre on 44th Street, goes from $1,000 (reserved seating) to $2,100 (preferred) per person, with a reception to follow. The forum starts at 6:30 p.m.
