Hillary Clinton on Halliburton

March
12

Sen. Hillary Clinton, who was in the Bronx today to announce she was reintroducing legislation that supports grandparents raising their grandchildren, had this to say about Halliburton’s announced plans to shift its corporate headquaters to Dubai:

“I think that raises a lot of serious issues we have to look at…. Does this mean they are going to quit paying taxes in America? They are going to take all the advantage of our country but not pay their fair share of taxes? They get a lot of government contracts – is this going to affect the investigations that are going on? Because we have a lot of evidence of misuse of government contracts and how they have cheated the American soldier and cheated the American taxpayer. They have taken the money and not provided the services, so does this mean that we won’t be able to pursue these investigations?

“I think it raises a lot of very big concerns and I think we are going to be looking into that in Washington. I think it is disgraceful that American companies are more than happy to try to get no-bid contracts like Halliburton has and then turn around and say we are not going to stay with our Chief Executive Officer or the President of our company in the U.S. anymore.”

I WILL VOTE FOR HILLARY. Remember why you are a Democrat and you will know this is the right vote. Sensible. I care, I hate greed, I don’t want crooks and liars in office, let’s look at the problems here at home, bring back the troops, clean up our air, build schools for our kids’ kids. Lets take a look at the issues affecting us and make the right move people, its not rocket science. Ignore the bitter right, they cannot win. What would Jesus bomb George? Quit aligning with religious people because you commit ultimate sins you hypocrite!

I think that Hillary Clinton is an IDIOT! I think that before Senator Clinton makes any statements she needs to get the facts. Halliburton’s move to Dubia has been in the works since 2006 as a strategic plan to obtain more of the eastern hemispher’s business, as they are a world-wide corporation.
They will still maintain corporate offices in Houston and still be subject to taxation as they always have been. This is simply a business move to increase there profits like there competitor who maintains corporate offices in France as well as Houston. I don’t seem to hear Hillary mentioning them?
If Hillary becomes president I will have to move to Canada or Mexico, I don’t think I could live in a country that would support such a hypocrite and self serving individual.
