Zebrowski in the hospital
A spokesman for Assemblyman Kenneth P. Zebrowski, D-New City, confirmed today that the Assemblyman is suffering from Hepatitis C and that he is hospitalized.
Media Coordinator Keith Braunfotel said today that Zebrowski had undergone a procedure related to the hepatitis and that he was also being treated for a blod clot in his leg.
Braunfotel said Zebrowski is working while recuperating.
“We do wish he was feeling better, but he’s as sharp as a tack,” he said.
State Sen. Thomas Morahan, R-New City, is a close friend of Zebrowski’s and has visited him often.
“He’s laid up for awhile and his legislative agenda is being attended to,â€? Morahan said.
This is the second time in recent months that Zebrowski has been sick. He was hospitalized last year, but by election season he was recovering and said he was feeling much better despite losing his hair and a noticeable amount of weight.

Mr. Borgo.
I know Ken Zebrowski as a friend and colleague for the last decade, both in Albany and previously, when we worked together as Chairs of our respective County Legislatures in Rockland and Westchester. Ken told me personally over the weekend about his illness. It is serious, and it is exactly how this blog portrayed it. It is not cancer.
I am praying for Ken to get better – and you should, too. But we’re not talking politics here, we’re talking about someone’s life. We should show proper respect and concern. You can hate us in politics, and that’s fair game. You can oppose us and that’s fair game. But this man is ill, and he doesn’t need B.S. on a weblog to make his life and times more difficult.
Kenny – we’re rooting for you.
