Clinton snags a Shaheen

Sen. Hillary Clinton has scored a big, if perhaps not unexpected, get in New Hampshire, snagging Democratic bigwig Bill Shaheen to co-chair both her state and national campaigns, The Concord Monitor’s political blog reports. Shaheen, who ran John Kerry’s campaign there in 2004, is one of the state’s most savvy and connected organizers, and is married to former New Hampshire Gov. Jeanne Shaheen. A formal announcement is expected today, according to the paper.
