The Westchester County Board of Legislators marked Women’s History Month this morning by having the female legislators come to the podium and read a proclamation.

“Boy, there’s a lot of women legislators,” Chairman Bill Ryan, D-White Plains, quipped as the five came forward.

“Not enough,” shot back Judy Myers, D-Mamaroneck.

A few also tittered at the last line of the proclamation, which urged “that all citizens be called upon to encourage and instill pride in our County’s women as they continue to ‘move history forward’ and use their talents for the betterment of mankind.”
