Mount Vernon: Clinton Young to primary Mayor Davis

Westchester County Legislator Clinton Young announced his candidacy for Mount Vernon mayor today, saying the city needs a change in leadership.

Young, the county board’s vice chair, intends to primary 12-year incumbent Mayor Ernest Davis.

“It’s time in Mount Vernon for a change, he said. “It’s time to truly empower the city.”
