Westchester County Legislator Clinton Young “announced his candidacy”:http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070327/NEWS02/703270412 for Mount Vernon mayor today, saying the city needs a change in leadership.
Young, the county board’s vice chair, intends to primary 12-year incumbent Mayor Ernest Davis.
“It’s time in Mount Vernon for a change, he said. “It’s time to truly empower the city.”
