By voting for Tom DiNapoli as controller she has shown that she is for keeping the status quo and not for reform. A reformer fights for change and works for the community that they represent. For years she has said she is a leader in the reform movement. What has she reformed?

Also, let’s not forget that she voted for Tom DiNapoli as comptroller because “he was the most qualified.” What a load of crap! That vote was symbolic of everything Galef does.

When she was finally given an opportunity to do something good for the reform movement in NY she turned her back and showed her true status quo colors…

Galef is a total joke. While I’m sure she is well intentioned she has really done nothing (including trying) to reform the process. She thinks not taking member items is a symbolic gesture of reform but all she does is shortchange her constituents. She introduces bills, sends out a press release and calls it a day. She doesn’t lobby her colleagues for successful passage. She doesn’t use her bully pulpit to draw attention to the gridlock – she just hopes for a nice article in the paper and that no one will call her out and reveal that all she does is create an illusion of action. The people want reform and Galef sure isn’t delivering it.

Give the voters a break, this will not happen. If you really want to do something for the people in your community. Get our taxes lowered.

You have no clout in Albany that is why Westchester County was short changed in the budget process this year. Do you really want us to believe you are going to get these 2 bills passed through the Assembly.

Ms. Galef you call yourself a “Reformer” you want change in the budget process so you are sponsoring two bills. These bills will not pass, like all of the other bills you have pushed for reform. Because Speaker Sheldon Silver won’t let them pass, shouln’t a true “Reformer” have the courage to publicly call on Sheldon Silver to let these bills come up for a vote?

Ms. Galef – you can fool some of the people some of the time. But, I believe your years of fooling people into thinking you are a “Reformer” are quickly coming to an end. You are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.

This lady is a joke. Her idea of reform is to introduce some lame bill once a year and watch as it sits there and dies a quiet death. She’s been there waaaaay to long and doesn’t realize she is part of the problem.

Assemblywoman Galef may want to consult with school boards in her district—not having a state budget resovled until May 1st means that school district budgets are at best a guess.
