Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama, riding high on his first-quarter fundraising numbers, will return to New York City on Monday to raise even more moolah, The Daily News “reports”:http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_report/2007/04/06/2007-04-06_obama_returning_to_ny_gold_mine.html. The Illinois senator will also “make an appearance”:http://thepoliticker.observer.com/2007/04/obamas-live-studio-audience.html on David Letterman’s talk show.

The Daily News story also contains the tidbit that rival candidate and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is on vacation this Easter week in the Dominican Republic.
