Romney N.H. poll numbers on upswing

April
6

Another day, a new set of numbers. This time it’s a new “Zogby poll”:http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1280 that now puts former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani behind two other candidates in New Hampshire.

The news in this poll is a suggestion that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is surging, with support nearly doubling from 13 percent in January to 25 percent now. Arizona Sen. McCain tied Romney for the lead, polling at 25 percent, down one point since the start of the year, and Giuliani polled at 19 percent, down from 20 percent in January.

The survey of 502 likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters, conducted April 2-3, has a margin of error of +/- 4.5 percentage points.

Mitt Romney should Transfer (1) the political risk, (2) the public relations risk, and (3) the burden of persuasion risk of explaining polygamy to: (A) a National, (B) a Regional, (C) an Interstate, or (D) a Local Corridor of Living Museum(s) of Polygamy-Secular History. We’ll see how well Rudy does in the polls when more voters learn more about him.
