For something lighter this holiday week, we give you New York’s official Easter egg, courtesy of “the White House”:http://www.whitehouse.gov/easter/2007/eggsbystate/. The tradition of collecting an egg decorated by an artist from each state (and the District of Columbia) apparently started in 1994, under the Clinton administration.
