Brodsky for speaker?

April
9

From the for-what-it’s worth department: The New York Sun has a story “in today’s paper”:http://www.nysun.com/article/52054 questioning whether a recent round of agitation by Assemblyman Richard Brodsky, D-Greenburgh, is an indication Brodsky might have his eye on the Assembly speakership.

“The speculation has increased as word has spread that Mr. Brodsky has been organizing dinners with several members of his conference in the past month,” the account says.

Brodsky is somewhat dismissive of the suggestion, telling the paper: “I don’t think about it… “I have an interest in getting through the next week. Speaker’s the kind of thing where lightning strikes. You can’t plan for it. You can’t campaign for it.”
