Obama and Dave: “Check your local listings”

April
9

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama is on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight, and the Democratic presidential candidate wants you to tell your friends. (That is, if they haven’t seen the promos featuring clips of Obama from a previous stop in Dave’s chair, after he won his U.S. Senate seat in 2004).

His Web site has an automatic letter-generator you can use to send emails that say the following: “I wanted to let you know that Senator Barack Obama will be a guest—tonight—on “The Late Show” with David Letterman at 11:35 EDT, 10:35 CDT on CBS. Check your local listings to find the channel in your area and make sure you watch!”

“As previously mentioned”:http://www.nynews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070409/NEWS01/704090346, Obama’s also in town for a series of fundraisers.
