Dingabong, who are you exactly to state that Andrew Saul is a 5th avenue RINO? I am a combat veteran who received a Bronze Star in Iraq, and I know as much about Andrew Saul's political leanings as I do about Kieran Lalor. When it comes to experience however, I am just as qualified as Lalor to run for this seat. Saul on the other hand, was the CEO of two major corporations, and is now the Chairman of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, managing 2 billion dollars for the retirement of 4 million soldiers, including myself. So why don't you save your disparaging remarks until we hear a little more about this candidates. Just because I am a decorated veteran doesn't mean I am automatically handing my vote to Lalor.

Andrew Saul? The Katonah/5th Avenue RINO? That would be a mistake. Republicans win when they run as conservatives. My primary vote would be for Kieran Michael Lalor - www.kml2008.org

it is highly unusual for an incumbant congressman
to lose..sue kelly lost...john hall is now the
incumbant..and a rich guy like saul can challenge
him all he wants ..he will not make any headway
as long as Iraq is front and center...but here
is my guess....Pataki's consultants are talking
him into running...but the demographics of the 19th district
are changing and by 2008 they will be even more favorable
to the democrats...then of course the republican will have
to grovel to get the conservative and independence party
lines..and will have to be pro life...because mike long
requires it...Whether its Obama or Hillary...only Rudy
might be able to help the republican in the 19th...
and as of now his candidacy is tentative since many
southern and western conservatives are looking for
another standard bearer someone like fred thompson
who mirors their views on social issues....
John Hall will hold his seat unless the democratic
congress does something really foolish....and since
they smell the white house I doubt they will take
any risks..in fact...from what I see they understand
the plight of upper middle income earners better than
the republicans..they have proposed abolishing the AMT
for people making 200,000....the republicans are stuck
in the mud on that issue...and again if we are in Iraq
in any substantive way....not only will there still
be a democratic congress.but their majority will
grow
