Federal officials are touring Mamaroneck “this morning”:http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070420/NEWS02/704200435 and now comes word that state Sen. Jeff Klein will have a flood tour of his own at midday.

Klein “will join with local Eastchester officials, Mayor John Fitzpatrick of Tuckahoe, Mayor Mary Marvin of Bronxville, and a representative from the State Emergency Management Office to survey the damages caused by the recent Noreaster,” according to a press advisory from Klein’s office.

And we’re not sure what expertise Klein will add to this part, but: “The group will conduct a structural assessment of Bronxville High School which has suffered extensive flooding, and an infrastructural assessment of Yonkers Ave in Tuckahoe,” the announcement adds.
