Manhattanville College is out with a new poll this morning that contains good news for both Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano and District Attorney Janet DiFiore, but some troubling results for Hillary Rodham Clinton.
According to the poll, Clinton would barely defeat Republican Rudolph Giuliani in her home county, 45 percent to 43. While Clinton was the favorite among Democrts (71-16), Republicans and independent voters favored the former New York City mayor (83-8 among GOP voters and 43-9 among independents).
There was much better news for Spano, a Democrat who is in the middle of his third term. He received an overall favorable rating of 63 percent, compared to 19 percent unfavorable. Ony 5 percent of those surveyed said they had never heard of him.
DiFiore, the Republican who was elected in November, 2005, to succeed Jeanine Pirro, had a favorable rating of 43 percent, compared to only 8 percent unfavorable. The poll showed, though, that DiFiore remains a mystery to many in the county, with 32 percent saying they had never heard of her.

Everyone will know who DiFiore is when she announces that she is changing from the Republican to the Democratic Party.
She does whatever Larry Schwartz wants her to do, and is no way a Republican anyway.
She is nothing like Jeanine Pirro who was a top shelf DA and a loyal Lady.
DiFiore is out for DiFiore, and she will do anything to stay in office. An office that she has other people running.
