I completely agree with amris and the consultant-The devastation that Yonkers experienced from flooding was extensive. Where waw Andrea and Sptizer? Spitzer was in Mamaroneck, which also experienced flooding-15 minutes away from Yonkers guess his schedule didnt permit him to come to us. Where was Andrea-who knows, I saw firsthand the devastation at Brooklands-Mayor Amicone and Assemblyman Spano did too-they were there trying to help our residents.
Andrea couldnt deliver the money needed for Yonkers Schools at least she could have gone to flooded areas and pretended she cared. Congrats to those of you in the 35th dustruc who voted for her. We lost a great leader and ended up with her. Great

The governor has an obligation to the people of yonkers
whether or not they have a republican mayor…to respond
in cases of disaster related issues….Andrea is sitted
on her butt and is giving the job no attention at all
you would have thought she would call the governor
and get him to come down to yonkers and meet with the
mayor…party affiliation should play no roll..
the president declared westchester a disaster area
and he lost it big time…Spitzer is turning out
to be an arrogant, self serving, self indulgent
petulent and childish..You can take the boy out of the
city…but you can’t take the city out of the boy

Maybe the mayor should call on the new State Senator from the 35th senate dist. she had Spitzer here in the dist. enough throughout her campaign making all kinds of promises… where is she NOW!! yeah right like she could accomplish anything for Yonkers.. Thanks all you Greenburgh nuts who voted for her hope your happy with all that we have to pay for now thanks to putting her in office. Did anyone read where she tourned any of the devasted areas of Yonkers to see just what happened. guess not. why doesn’t the paper pick all this stuff up about her doing nothing.. guess they like her. Thanks for trying anyway Mayor.
