Bill Clinton is crossing the river
Former President Bill Clinton will be on his own tomorrow at a fundraiser for his wife’s presidential campaign. Scheduled for 6 p.m. at the New City home of Democrat Rosina Rubin, tickets to the event range from $1,000 a person to just under $5,000.
“But there’s not many $1,000s. They aren’t encouraging $1,000s,” Vince Monte, the Rockland County Democratic Committee chairman, said today.
Monte, one of the dinner’s hosts, said he’s expected between 75 and 100 people to attend.
“There’s a lot of money going out of the county tomorrow,” he said.
