Rockland’s only two county execs to hold TV pow-wow

May
8

County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef and former County Executive John Grant will chat on Vanderhoef’s televised “County Executive’s Forum” tomorrow about the leadership post.

Grant, a Democrat, was elected Rockland’s first county executive in 1985. He served for seven years before Vanderhoef, a Republican, beat him in the 1993 election. The two will discuss the county’s transition in the 1980s to a county executive form of government and the effect it has had on Rockland.

The show will air at 7 p.m. tomorrow on Cablevision channel 78. It will be re-broadcast at 7 p.m. every Wednesday in May and June.
