Rudy Giuliani has personally apologized to an Iowa farm family who “felt snubbed”:http://polhudson.lohudblogs.com/2007/05/11/no-thanks-youre-not-rich-enough/ when a campaign event planned for their farm was abruptly canceled.

According to The Associated Press, Giuliani paid a visit to the eastern Iowa town of Olin to talk to Deborah and Jerry VonSprecken after he learned of the “misunderstanding.” The pair later agreed to chair his campaign in their home county.

“He is sincere, Deborah VonSprecken said, telling the AP the former NYC mayor spent two hours at the farm on Monday. “I looked in his eyes. He is truthful. He is a down to earth, grassroots gentleman.
