As much as we would all like NY to be in play in '08 its just not going to happen. The other side of that is, if a Republican wins NY he probably can't win the all important middle and south. Throw bloomberg into the mix (who is more popular in NY than Rudy)and it may change the equation. He steals votes from Hillary in certain places. The fact remains that a social liberal cannot win the GOP primary or the general election. Rudy gives us Clinton. If his ego weren't so big, we would have a Republican in Albany right now.
